We had a wonderful experience with Woodlot companions. Our new sheepadoodle puppy arrived safely via ground transport. We have had him for approximately 7 weeks now and he is smart, friendly, loving and adjusting well to training and our family. We are very happy. Ben is truly one of a kind. My first experience with Woodlotcompanions has been the best!! I first spoke to Gladys (owner) and then Kimberly (dog trainer and temperament expert)! – these Great first conversations led me through the process of learning about their available puppy’s and breeding business and Online education. Thank you! Welcoming Sheri and Corey, wtith Furry Trails tansport ground delivery business!! You’re a great team! Delivery delivery 24/7 pm EST better understand which can be via flight or ground delivery to yoor door. I opted for study material and speaking with them.Kimberly then made it more streamlined. By creating a wonderful collaboration service as an independent service provider to ensure the potential buyer gets the right dog for their family and home environment. Structure is the key and I had to introduce my 2 year old dog to the puppy which has lessens the burden after talking again Consummate Kimberly was a joy to speak with as she’s the consummate professional in understanding the challenges and family needs versus choosing the right dog. It was easy for me to choose once she described the temperaments and personalities! Thank goodness she’s there because they are all gorgeous, and let’s not underestimate most important matching is matching up breeds so it’s a comfortable choice and decision to make. After researching many breeders of English Cream Retrievers, I chose Woodlot Companions. My experience from first inquiries to the day my husband and I picked up our new puppy was seamless. I was able to choose the puppy based on a personality assessment, video, and pictures. Our puppy, Bowie, loves to cuddle. He plays with our golden, Ziggy, and then snuggles up to him for a nap. We had a great experience with Gladys and Woodlot Companions. There was a litter of ECGR and BMD due within a week of each other. My husband and I couldn’t decide which breed we wanted. Gladys was very patient with our “going back and forth” until we made our final decision. We decided on the BMD which is a new breed experience for us. ( Keri and Winston’s litter) Reluctantly, we were choosing sight unseen. We were set on a male but after learning their personalities, we chose sweet girl Willa. (That was her given name and we kept it.) She passed her first AKC training with flying colors. Everywhere we go people say how beautiful she is. She’s a handful, as big puppies are. But a good girl with a big personality. Gladys also arranged to have Willa transported to us in PA. If you’re hesitant about this as I was, don’t be! It was a great experience as well. We will be back for our ECGR when we feel the time is right. Judy

Our sweet Mini Bernedoodle from Woodlot Companions is one year old today. Our experience with Gladys and her charming son, Merlin, was seamless and trouble-free. The children and I picked our English Cream Golden Retriever pup as a Christmas gift for my husband but wanted to wait for a spring litter. Woodlot Companions could not have made the process easier or have been more communicative. We were in contact throughout the wait for a litter birth that would work for us and they were incredibly gracious about answering any questions that we had. They kept us apprised with photos of the babies and videos. We worked with their very knowledgeable trainer to find the right fit for our active family. And it all went like clockwork, we got exactly the puppy we were hoping for! We picked up our pup Yaz (Laker) in late April and what an absolute delight it was to finally meet him. The meeting room was spotless and filled with toys and the owners were very generous with their time in letting us get to know him and make him comfortable with us before we left for a 13-hour drive away from the only home and family he had ever had known. From the very first minute, he has been a wonderful addition to our home! Our vet is very impressed with his health and his lineage is impeccable. Yaz (Laker) is such a sweetheart and totally gorgeous. We could not be more pleased with our experience with Woodlot and are hoping to return for a second companion pup in a year or so. Everywhere we take him, he is comfortable with people and other dogs, very inquisitive and so so smart. He is conquering every training hurdle with ease and is eager to learn more every day. Woodlot was great! I did a lot of research for our first Bernadoodle purchase and they were a wealth of knowledge! Their trainer gave me an in depth view of her opinion of Ruby and her disposition was exactly what she described. There were 2 other dogs at the airport (from other breeders) when we picked her up and their crates were nasty/stinky with shredded news paper, ours was good quality with food and water and a puppy pad, to me it’s the little things and attention to detail that make all the difference! Ruby’s a great puppy and I’m sure will be a great addition to our family! Jim

I had been looking for just the right Bernese Mountain Dog puppy to add to our clan for almost three years. I live in North Carolina and looked at numerous breeders in my area and surrounding states and was not satisfied at all with what I found. Too many red flags every time. THEN..I came across Woodlot Companions and saw a picture of a female Berner puppy named “Hazel” (now Jenna). It was love at first sight! I did my due diligence prior to my first phone call to Gladys and found no red flags at all. None. Upon speaking with Gladys the first time, I knew this was the one. She was so sweet, knowledgeable and helpful, I told my husband, I’m getting this puppy to get prepared. Jenna has been a blessing from day one. I drove to their home to pick her up and was very impressed with Gladys, Ray and the whole operation. Jenna got in the car, went to sleep and off we headed to North Carolina. She has been a blessing. Very smart, sweet, gentle and loving. Our two Cavies and she became immediate buddies. My vet, upon her first visit, told me she has never seen a better Berner in composition nor temperment. Now, at 6 mos, she has learned so many things, has been extremely easy to train and everyone loves her. It was meant to be~ I highly recommend this breeder and will go back to them if I am ever in the market for another puppy. These folks know their stuff and care about their animals. And I am forever in their debt! Pat

We received our mini Bernedoodle via Furry Trails Pet Transport with Jessica & her son, who were awesome, on July 13, 2022. We may have only had “Mardi” Gras for 2 weeks, but we are in love! She is so smart, social & eager to please. Gladys was a dream to work with in getting our puppy! I had been previously scammed by another “so called breeder” & was very leery about purchasing another puppy sight unseen. She made it so easy! It was worth going through what I did to get the right people & the right puppy! I would definitely go through Woodlot Companions again, as well as refer them to anyone who is looking to purchase a puppy. Thanks again & God Bless! Kimberly

We added a Goberian to our family from Woodlot Companions at the end of March 2022 and he is absolutely a wonderful pup! We have never had this breed but had an idea of what to expect from research. Woodlot flew him to us which was a very simple process based on how they have things arranged. He arrived on time, in a clean, very nice carrier. We were headed on a vacation right around the time of our purchase so Woodlot was willing to hang onto him an additional 2 weeks. This meant when we got him he was a bit older(14 weeks) it was obvious they spent time with him because he would lay down to be pet! Has never jumped on us or our kiddos for attention. He is a great pup! Overall I can’t say enough good things about our experience! Rebecca

I adopted “Coral” from Woodlot Companions at the end of March 2021 (she was born 1/25/21). Her name is CharleeGirl now, and she is the sweetest, smartest, prettiest little girl. She has been very healthy, too. 😊🙏🤞 The process was sort of scary at first, because I live outside of Boston and she was in Ohio, so I didn’t get to meet her first, but after putting a deposit on-line late night, I received a text from Gladys nearly immediately. We talked the next day and after hearing her family’s story as to why they started breeding pups and how they are housed and cared for I couldn’t help but move forward. They seamlesly arranged delivery from Ohio TO MY FRONT DOOR 3 days later! 🤩 I had my pretty little girl on Wednesday! I was elated and the transportation co. they used was incredible, (A to Z Transportation) they even sent me pictures of her on her 2 day journey to me. l would highly recommend Woodlot Companions for an English Cream Golden Retriever, Charlee’s temperament is actually just as they described her on the website “CHILL, but likes to play hard when she plays” Thank you to Woodlot Companions, after loosing my Golden Retriever Bella a few weeks earlier it was so nice to have a new little one, and obviously if I am taking the time to write this review a year and a half after getting her you know it is all true.
