We got out mini goldendoodle, Ruby, in May of 2020. She is just the best. She is so sweet and just loves attention. She is playful while also willing to chill with us on the couch. She was potty-trained in a day and she hardly ever barks (unless she sees a squirrel - she'll get one someday). She loves walks, treats and playing. She sleeps on her back with her legs straight up in the air so we can rub her belly. She sits on top of our couch cushions like a cat. She also sleeps on top of my head at night. We are so lucky to have this ridiculous puppy in our lives.

Ollie (born Easton) is such an awesome dog. We have had him for a year now are so delighted to have him in our family (that goes for the humans and the other dogs). Willow joined our family this summer! She is an absolute joy & we love her so much! Ray & Gladys couldn't have been easier to work with & we HIGHLY recommend them if you are looking for a quality breeder. From my initial inquiry online, Gladys & I spoke on the phone & she answered all of my questions about their business & the upcoming litters. I had a good feeling in my heart that they were honest & took great pride in their dogs. Gladys was always a text away & always updated me on the status of the litter. Once they were born, Ray sent pictures & videos on email as well as on their website. Before we chose Willow, we had an hour long phone call with their dog trainer, who temperament tested all of the puppies in the litter. In this phone call, we discussed our family's lifestyle & she gave us her recommendation as to which puppies she felt would best suit us. She was great & we've had Willow home 6 weeks now, & the temperament is still quite accurate! We live in Pittsburgh & were traveling to Columbus a few weeks before Willow's pick-up date, & Ray & Gladys allowed us to stop by to see Willow in person. Our family had been looking for a Mini Bernedoodle for over a year. My husband came across Woodlot Companions and we immediately fell in love with (Jimmi), what we hoped to be our future puppy. We reached out to Gladys and she was more than happy to answer all of our questions. Next, we caught a flight to Cleveland, rented a car, and drove to meet our new puppy, Maverick. He was such a happy puppy. Very playful and loving at the same time. We had an 11 hour drive ahead of us to get home. He was a dream in the car. We had potty and stretch breaks every 2-3 hours. Otherwise, he slept the entire trip. Gladys checked in on us the next day to make sure we made it home safely. And has continued to do so every so often. We of course can't help but send her an occasional picture to let her know how happy we are with Maverick. He is now 4 months old and so full of personality. He greets us with sloppy kisses the moment any of us gets home. He has brought a lot of joy and laughter to our household. I brought my English Cream Golden Retriever baby girl, Visenya (was Laine) home about 2 weeks ago. My husband & I were just discussing how extremely intelligent she is...she knows "leave it", "sit", "get your toy" & of course, "no" "ah-ah" etc. We have an English Cream Lab and he is smart, but Visenya is BRILLIANT, once or twice and she has it! Not only that, but Gladys works with and KNOWS her babies! The description is accurate. It is OBVIOUS, when you bring home a Woodlot Companion, that they are bred to be exactly that. They are familiar with having their feet, ears etc touched... familiar with a family environment and responsive to people... clearly NOT "kennel babies" this is SO important in puppy rearing & is underestimated by even the best breeders...but not by Woodlot. I cannot recommend Gladys & Merlin strongly enough, I have shown dogs of many breeds, all my life & have never brought home a puppy so young that has been so we'll prepared for it's new home. I do not give this recommendation lightly and every word is from the heart. If you have hesitated, hesitate no longer. Contact Woodlot, you will not be sorry. They are kind and open and breed amazing dogs. You can trust them.

I've had dogs my entire life but my family would always get them from local breeders in CA. This is was my first time getting a dog out of state from a breeder I knew nothing about but I have to tell you our family couldn't be happier! When we saw little "Lakers" face, now Banksy we knew we had to have him join our family. When I called and spoke to Gladys she was an absolute delight. She was patient and thorough and you could tell she's been doing this for some time. She never pressured me at any point and welcomed me to even have a conversation with Kimberly their pet behavior specialist. I spoke to Kimberly who made sure this sheepadoodle was going to be the right fit. She described his personality and told me what to expect. They made me very comfortable in my decision to get the dog. The transportation of the dog to CA was easy and Gladys kept me informed. He arrived as healthy and happy as can be, and he's one of the cutest sheepadoodle puppies I have ever seen! Woodlot Companions is the way to go!

We just brought home our Goberian puppy and safe to say we are in love. She is super friendly and cuddly with the prettiest blue eyes and is so good with our kids. She gets along well with our golden too! The breeders shared video with us so we could watch her grow while we anxiously awaited brining her home. They live on a beautiful piece of land in Ohio and were so easy to work with. Highly recommend!

We got Pepper (Khloe) back in February. Nine months and a newborn baby later, she’s the best puppy we could ever ask for. She’s got the best disposition, sweetest personality and she’s such a fast learner. Everywhere we go, we are constantly getting questions or compliments on her. 2 months ago we brought home sweet Aria, a beautiful English cream golden retriever. Aria is such a good pup, she is smart and a fast learner. She immediately adjusted to her crate, was able to follow some basic commands after just a few days, and after about one month hardly had any potty accidents at home. She’s friendly and loving, has a good temperament, and she brought so much joy to our lives! Woodlot companions were wonderful! Gladys was so helpful from the first contact. We are first timers and Gladys walked me through the process and answered every question. She welcomed a visit and showed me other pups and the parents. All the dogs seemed happy and healthy and very well taken care of! Gladys even followed up a couple of times just to ask how the adjustment is going and how was the vet visit. Overall, we had a great experience with Woodlot and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a great and healthy pup. We can’t thank you enough for our sweet Aria.

I have always wanted a puppy and when I found a mini Bernedoodle from Woodlots Companions, I fell in love instantly and knew that this pup was the one. I was quite nervous as I have never raised a puppy by myself before, especially during this unpredictable time. Our experience with Woodlot Companions was exceptional. We were looking to welcome our first puppy into our home and had done hours upon hours of research on what breed we were looking for. When we decided on a Pomsky, the real search began to find a breeder that genuinely put the animals first. We looked into quite a few that were quite apparently "puppy mills" & quite honestly were ready to table the idea of getting a puppy much to our young son's disappointment. I was determined and gave it one more try. That's when we came across Balto. I did the research & from what I was reading, Woodlot appeared to be just the breeders we were looking for. I immediately messaged them and they replied very quickly, she even jumped on a quick call at 8:30 at night to discuss what they were about and address a couple questions. She then made time for us to come the following day and even agreed to hold him for 24 hours so we could meet him before we made our decision and put down the deposit. We went and met him the next day & absolutely fell in love. We were very close to putting a deposit on 2 puppies as a matter of fact! After putting down the deposit, the breeders were amazing at sending video updates of Balto playing outside and with his brothers and sisters. We looked forward to getting them. After we brought him home, he was having some digestive issues. Again, Woodlot was VERY responsive and gave me many solutions to help the issue. It has since been resolved & they even followed up later to ask if everything was good. We hope they stay around for years to come so we have the chance to purchase from them again. Our amazing pup is now a year old today and she was the best decision my fiancé and I decided on. Formerly known as Tallie, now Vixen, quickly became part of our family. We never had a dog before and with two kids in college and my youngest still at home, we contemplated getting a puppy…and then because of COVID we knew we could be home to put in the time to care for and train a puppy. We researched English Cream Golden Retrievers and found Woodlot Companions! I called, and without even leaving a message, Gladys called me right back! I told her we were interested in Lilah (previously Layla) and proceeded to ask her a million questions because this was all so new to us. She was so incredibly patient answering every single text/email…and even with all the puppies she had to care for, she took the time to respond to my request to take/send me updated videos of Lilah. When we finally met Gladys and Merlin in person, we witnessed what calm, patient and professional people they are….and I knew that Lilah had benefitted from it. In fact, her very first day home she was able to learn to "sit" and to go into her crate on command! This was after me - a first time dog owner - training her for a short period of time!? The next day, she could also lay down, stay, and come to me on command! She was so naturally motivated / LOVED "training", yet also had the absolute sweetest, calm disposition. By 10 weeks she could sleep through the night, and at 13 weeks started using "bells" to let us know when she needed to "potty" throughout the day. We all talk about how lucky we were to get such a good dog, but in all honesty we know that the environment that Lilah was bred and raised in is what made her the calm, trainable, friendly puppy she is today….and one that stops people all the time to remark on how beautiful she is and what gorgeous coloring she has. I highly recommend Woodlot Companions, they breed truly amazing dogs and are an absolute pleasure to work with! (The pic of her is on her second day home, in her proud "sit" position :)

When we first started looking for our English cream golden retriever, Sylver,we had done a lot of web browsing and Woodlot Companions got our attention immediately. The website itself is nothing but first rate with a vast amount of information about the history of the breeder and the easiness of looking at the different breeds of dogs they raise. I fell in love with my Kylo (formally Radar)(Goberian)back in March of 2019 while living overseas. Merlin was so kind throughout the entire process and sent pictures and videos of him.
